The haircut was previously used by Bieber and his popularity with young people showed up as a cultural phenomenon, becoming one of the most copied hairstyles among adolescent boys and getting the name Biebercut. Bieber's hair has also proved popular with young lesbians.

2009 - 2010: My World, My World 2.0 and first performances
 
Justin Bieber at the MTV Video Music Awards in 2010.Bieber's first album, the extended play My World, was released on November 17, 2009. The album features vocals from Usher, who appears in the video for "One Time."  Bieber held a promotional tour to promote the single and was on various radio stations. "One Time" reached the twelfth position in the Canadian Hot 100 during its first week in July 2009,  and twenty on the Billboard Hot 100. On September 26, 2009, "One Time" was certified Platinum in Canada.  The next three singles were "One Less Lonely Girl," "Love Me" and "Favorite Girl", the latter two were released exclusively on iTunes , and were positioned in the top 15 of the top 40 in Canada and the United States.
Bieber performed in several programs such as VMA 09 Tour of MTV, the European program The Dome, The Next Star, The Today Show,  The Wendy Williams Show, Lopez Tonight, The Ellen DeGeneres Show, It's On with Alexa Chung Good Morning America, Chelsea Lately and 106 & Park with Rihanna.
Bieber also had a cameo in an episode of True Jackson, VP in 2009.  In October 2009, Justin was voted the 5th Best Good Example JSYK 2009 by AOL.
Bieber gave a performance for U.S. President Barack Obama and first lady Michelle Obama at the White House for Christmas in Washington, a special musical televised benefiting the National Children's Medical Center and was aired on December 20, 2009 in TNT.  He performed "Someday at Christmas" by Stevie Wonder in the program.
Was also presented at the 52nd Grammy Awards on January 31, 2010 with singer Kesha.
Justin opened the shows of the Fearless Tour of country singer Taylor Swift in the UK  and made a short tour of five concerts in Canada, sponsored by Urban Behavior. Bieber has confirmed it will travel to their first full tour sometime in 2010,  and will again open the show Taylor Swift when she is present at Gillette Stadium during the annual concert for the winner of the CMA Entertainer of the Year.  Justin was invited to participate as one of the vocalists in the remake of "We Are The World" to benefit earthquake victims in Haiti, called "We Are the World 25 for Haiti" where he sings the first line - originally from Lionel
Richie. He also participated in another project for the same cause, composed only of Canadian artists, credited as Young Artists for Haiti, who recorded the song "Wavin 'Flag" by K'naan.

The song reached the top 10 in the UK and Australia. On April 10, 2010, Bieber was invited to the Saturday Night Live.  The second single from My Word 2.0, "Somebody to Love" was released in April 2010, and then a remix with the participation of the mentor Bieber, Usher was released. On June 23, 2010, Justin continued his tour My World Tour to promote the My World and My World 2.0.  That same month, his music video "Baby" topped the Lady Gaga, "Bad Romance", and

Justin also participated in another episode, which aired on February 17, 2011, in which his character was killed.Bieber gave a performance of "U Smile", "Baby," "Somebody to Love" and briefly drummed on September 12, 2010. Justin announced in October 2010 that it would launch an acoustic album called My Worlds Acoustic.  The album was released in the U.S. featuring acoustic versions of their previous albums, and accompanied the launch of the new single "Pray".

Life before fame                 Justin Bieber at the Nintendo World Store in 2009.Justin Drew Bieber was born on March 1, 1994 in London in the state of Ontario and three months later moved to Stratford, also in Ontario. Lynn is the son of Patricia "Pattie" Jack Mallette and Jeremy Bieber. The couple married young and still quite separated when Justin was only 10 months old. He was raised by a single mother.  Jeremy Justin remarried and had two half brothers, Jazmyn and Jaxon. The divorce was amicable, Justin always visited his father who worked in a building in Winnipeg.
